About Dorothea Hover-Kramer
Dorothea Hover-Kramer Ed.D. RN, CNS, DCEP has been a psychotherapist in private practice for over 30 years and combines her career as a psychologist with her background as a clinical nurse specialist through her licensed business, Behavioral Health Consultants. She co-founded the international Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) in 1999, served as its past president and was instrumental in designing and implementing its certification program. She is a designated diplomate in comprehensive energy psychology (D.CEP).
Dr. Dorothea is also the author of eight books about energy therapies including her most recent, Creating Healing Relationships (2011), and

Dorothea is especially committed to bringing insights from the field of Energy Psychology to those facing the challenges and opportunities of the second half of life. She wants to help unleash the creative potential in every person and to encourage learning from pain’s lessons to overcome human suffering.
Dorothea is also active in her community by participating with Friends of the Fields, the North Olympic Land Trust (NOLT), the Sierra Club, and is a board member of the Dungeness Valley Health and Wellness Clinic (aka Sequim Free Clinic) and its current Wellness Committee chair, which sponsors monthly wellness forums and other wellness-related programs. She is a gardener who nourishes plants and wildlife and her great dogs. She lives with her husband Chuck Kramer in sight of the Olympic mountains and the Straits of Juan de Fuca and follows the adventures of her three adult children and their families with a grand total of seven grandchildren.
